Delete your account from the app

You can delete your GrindUp account at any time, directly from the app:

1. Open the GrindUp app and go to your Profile.
2. Open Settings.
3. Tap Edit Profile.
4. Scroll to the Danger Zone and tap Delete Account.
5. Confirm that you want to delete your account.
6. Confirm your identity when prompted (your password, or Google / Apple sign-in) — this is required for your security.

What happens next

• Your profile and videos are hidden immediately.
• Your account is then permanently deleted after a 7-day grace period.
• You can cancel the deletion at any time during those 7 days by signing in again and confirming the cancellation. After the 7 days, deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
• For safety and legal reasons, a limited amount of information — such as safety reports and validation votes you made about others, and records we must keep for fraud-prevention or accounting — is retained. Where it is kept, your identity is removed or replaced with a one-way pseudonym: some of this data is pseudonymized rather than fully anonymized, meaning it is no longer linked to your account but is not guaranteed to be irreversibly anonymous.

Subscriptions

If you have an active GrindUp+ subscription, deleting your account does not cancel it. Cancel your subscription separately from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).

Can't access the app?

If you can no longer sign in to the app, email us at support@grindup.app from the address associated with your account and we will process the deletion for you.
